So far from home...
Fighting for the freedom we take for granted
Trying to uproot the hatred terrorists have planted

So Far From Home
While taking night courses at the university, I met a fellow
student who is also in the US Air Force. Before the semester
ended, he was suddenly deployed to Saudi Arabia. We kept in
touch via email. After an on-line chat about what it's like
to serve there, the words for "So Far From Home"
invaded my thoughts demanding to be written down. My friend,
CJ, is currently stationed in North Carolina.
